Product Overview
Special-purpose plastic conveyor chains fill the gaps between standard catalogue chain series. The F54, RT114, N826-R150, and NP11000 variants address conveying requirements that the mainstream flat-top and flexible chain families cannot meet — whether through unusual pitch geometries, integrated roller designs, tight-radius straight-run capability, or the specialised surface texture needed for specific product types. Each of these four models was originally developed to solve a documented problem on a production line, and each remains in active use in its intended application category.
EverPower plastic chain Australia Pty Ltd supplies all four as direct replacements for System Plast equivalents, with the technical support to confirm correct selection for your application. Contact our Sydney team at [email protected] for application-specific guidance.

F54 — Flush Grid Conveyor Chain
The F54 is a flush-grid plastic conveyor chain with an open-grid top surface and a 54 mm chain pitch. The flush-grid geometry means the grid surface is level with the chain side plates, eliminating the raised edge that standard flat-top chains present at the link plate boundary. This matters in two specific situations: first, when conveying fragile products that must not catch on a raised plate edge during accumulation; second, when the chain passes under a fixed-height product detector or spray nozzle that requires a predictable, consistent surface height reference.
In the beverage industry, F54 is commonly used on pasteuriser conveyor sections where steam and hot water must reach the underside of the container simultaneously with the chain top surface. The open grid permits full liquid penetration from above without the surface tension bridging that traps liquid under closed-surface chain plates. This improves pasteurisation uniformity and reduces the risk of hot-spot formation under the container base.

RT114 — Roller Top Conveyor Chain
The RT114 integrates small-diameter rollers into the chain top plate surface. These rollers are perpendicular to the direction of chain travel, allowing products resting on the chain surface to be pushed laterally — across the conveyor width — with minimal force. This characteristic makes RT114 the standard solution for 90° product transfers and merging/diverging sections where the product must be redirected from the chain’s travel direction to a perpendicular exit conveyor without stopping or lifting.
The rollers are free-spinning and require no lubrication or maintenance beyond standard chain wash-down. In a typical pop-up roller transfer application, an array of RT114 chains runs parallel to the main conveyor. When the transfer is activated, the RT114 chain rises slightly above the main conveyor surface and the products roll freely across the roller tops in the perpendicular direction. Roller diameter is sized to match the minimum product base dimension, preventing small-base items from dropping between rollers.

N826-R150 — Tight-Radius Straight Chain
The N826-R150 designation encodes its key specification: a chain body compatible with conveyor radii as tight as 150 mm. Standard flat-top and flexible chains require minimum inner bend radii of 400–600 mm. The N826-R150 achieves 150 mm minimum radius through a combination of narrower link plates and a reduced chain width, allowing it to negotiate very tight curves on compact conveyor layouts — particularly relevant in food service and catering equipment where floor space is at a premium.
Despite its tight-radius capability, the N826-R150 maintains the flat conveying surface and the POM material properties standard across the range. Its working load is lower than wider-format chains — typically 600–800 N per strand — so dual-strand configurations are common on runs exceeding 6 metres to maintain adequate safety factors. The tight radius design also provides unusually good return-strand behaviour in compact conveyor frames where the return path must navigate around structural elements.

NP11000 — Wide-Format Conveyor Chain
The NP11000 is an extra-wide plastic conveyor chain designed for pallet-scale or wide-format product conveying in distribution and logistics. The 11,000 designation reflects the approximate nominal chain width in tenths of a millimetre — approximately 1,100 mm total. At this width, a single chain strand provides the conveying surface for large corrugated cases, industrial packaging, and unit loads that would require a multi-strand standard chain configuration.
The NP11000 is manufactured from a reinforced POM compound that maintains the required stiffness at wide span. Drive and support are typically provided by a distributed roller support system rather than guide rails, as the chain span width creates significant centre-sag at standard guide rail spacing. EverPower can supply the NP11000 with matched roller support assemblies — contact our technical team for a full system specification.

What Our Customers Say
“F54 flush grid chain on our tunnel pasteuriser. Product temperature uniformity improved measurably — our QA team saw a 0.8 °C reduction in the hot-spot delta across the can base. That’s a direct result of better liquid penetration through the open grid.”
— Process Engineer, Canned Tomato Producer, Melbourne VIC
“RT114 roller top at our 90° transfer. We reduced transfer cycle time from 4.2 seconds to 1.8 seconds because the rollers eliminate the static friction that the pneumatic pusher had to overcome. Line throughput went up by about 12%.”
— Industrial Engineer, Confectionery Packaging, Brisbane QLD
“N826-R150 was the only chain that could physically negotiate our 180 mm inner radius curve in the tight equipment bay. EverPower confirmed the minimum radius specification before we ordered — no guesswork. The chain fits and runs exactly as specified.”
— Mechanical Designer, Food Service Equipment OEM, Sydney NSW
